All POLAVARAM DAM PROJECT BVSR CONSTRUCTIONS

Polavaram is one of the biggest dam project in India. The total scope of excavation and concrete is 1055L cum and 34L cum respectively. The features of the project are Spillway,SpillChannel,Earth cum rock fill dam.

BVSRCPL has contributed to the many prized land marks of the Andhra Pradesh –some of the exquisite Roads, ROBs, Earthen bunds, Canals and Spill ways having been executed by BVSRCPL.

The project will create a new ayacut of 7.2 lakh acres and provide Irrigation benefits for the upland areas of East Godavari, Visakhapatnam Districts under Left Canal and West Godavari, Krishna Districts .

Polavaram project Total reservoir capacity of project is 195 TMC. The annual water utilization is 322 TMC,Installed capacity of power house is planned as 960 MW and 28.5 Lakh people will be benefited by water facility.
